This bug is really old and really annoying, is there any plans at all on fixing portsentry to start later?
Currently snmp has a race condition and will start after portsentry 50% of the time, cyrus and dovecot also have a race condition and start after it some of the time. Obviously this is less then optimal as it means some servers won’t come back up properly on reboot or power failure and manual intervention is required, log in turn off portsentry, start the service that where late, restart portsentry. Could this issue me looked at? Or at least acknowledged since it’s going on 3 years old now.
