Package: libruby1.8
Version: 1.8.2-7sarge2
Severity: normal

The 12.5.5 package contains a flaw in the XML parser that causes many wsdl
documents to fail to be parsed. The bug is fixed in the latest upstream
snapshot dates 2006-12-05.

During the parsing of PayPal's PayPalSvc.wsdl, complexdatatype will trigger a
"method unknown" when looking for parent.defaultdatatype.

I was able to eliminate the bug by installing the latest snapshot from the
upstream library repository. No significant side effects were witnessed after
the upgrade, however I did not fully test the library after installing the
vendor's version.
