I've just downloaded your patch and compared it with the original one,
there's no difference (well one more enter in your version).
Can you check with this updated version (builds without cdbs) if it
still happens? Resources are installed (didn't check with the
old version):

If you don't have i386, try this:
dget http://sid.ethz.ch/debian/affiche.app/affiche_0.6.0-9.dsc
dpkg-source -x affiche_0.6.0-9.dsc
cd affiche*/
debuild
cd ..
dpkg -i affiche.app_0.6.0-9_*.deb
