I have now reproduced this bug, but have not yet had time to investigate
further.

I noticed as well I see something strange in clinfo:

[...] Device Version OpenCL 1.2 beignet 1.3
[...] ICD loader Profile OpenCL 2.2
NOTE: your OpenCL library declares to support OpenCL 2.2,
but it seems to support up to OpenCL 2.1 only.
(I would expect 1.x only, haswell does not support 2.0 as far as I
remember, right?
It is normal for these 3 versions to be different: beignet can do 2.0,
but not on your (or my) hardware.
