Package: pm-utils Version: 1.4.1-17 Severity: normal When I run `pm-suspend-hybrid` the screen goes black and the system suspends. When I wake it up, the screen does not go "un-black". The system is definitely awake, because I can ssh into it, but I can't go back to what I was doing because of the black screen.
The screen is not *off*, because I can see that it's still backlit, but it's only showing black. Both `pm-suspend` and `pm-hibernate` work as expected; only `pm-suspend-hybrid` has this problem. `pm-is-supported --suspend-hybrid` returns 0 The laptop is "ASUS Laptop X Series X550ZE-WBFX", or at least that's what Newegg calls it. It has an AMD Radeon R5 M230 GPU, if that makes a difference. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.13.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages pm-utils depends on: ii powermgmt-base 1.31+nmu1 Versions of packages pm-utils recommends: ii ethtool 1:4.11-1 ii hdparm 9.51+ds-1 ii kbd 2.0.4-2 ii procps 2:3.3.12-3 pn vbetool <none> Versions of packages pm-utils suggests: pn cpufrequtils <none> pn radeontool <none> ii wireless-tools 30~pre9-12+b1 -- no debconf information
