THanks. Your /etc/fstab is pretty standard, so there's nothing
susceptible there.

Can you confirm the other question?

Does changing to following in /lib/udev/rules.d/99-laptop-mode.rules
help ?

ACTION=="add", SUBSYSTEM=="usb", RUN+="lmt-udev auto"
