A new team is being created for maintaining packages written in R (the statistical computing environment). Note however that the team does not maintain r-base (the R interpreter). The team has already more than 400 packages (mainly taken over from the Debian Science Team and the Debian Med Team), and 7 contributors.¹ We need a list for discussions about the packaging effort, hence this request.
