Hi all. GBirthday is not maintained.
If someone wants to port it to GObject Introspection, I'll happily leave it to him. However, I ported it to Python 3 and PyQt5. That new version is called... QBirthday ! Here it is: https://github.com/lafrech/qbirthday https://pypi.python.org/pypi/qbirthday/ It is a huge rework. I think I fixed a few issues (and probably introduced new ones...). QBirthday now has a setup.py which makes it easier to install. I hope it also makes it easier to create a .deb from the sources. Rolf (or anyone), would you like to package QBirthday? If and once a qbirthday package is pushed, do you think you could publish a transition package from gbirthday? There will be a few breaking changes, so the update won't be 100% transparent to the user, who may have to recreate his configuration, but it is better than nothing. Thanks. -- Jérôme
