Package: debian-installer Severity: normal Tags: d-i Dear Maintainer,
Installing 9.3.0 via Net Install CD. At the network detection stage, it found two network interfaces. I selected one interface, and it allocated an address via DHCP. My machine is intended to have a static IP, but I couldn't see an option to enter an IP once DHCP had succeeded. It would be useful to be able to choose not to use DHCP, or to override the DHCP settings. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.3 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
