You were right! I created a new configuration from scratch and that fixed the problem! I lost all my customization, though, so I tried looking for a more specific cause and realized that just deleting the file ~/.gimp-2.2/printrc from my original configuration fixed the problem. Now I can print, but I don't have a list of printers as I had at one point. I have installed cupsys-driver-gutenprint. Is there anything I can do so that the CUPS printers are back in the pull-down menu?
