Hi all,

enabling sudo functionality in gksu(do) requires an update-alternatives call. Where would that be best placed? d-e-c.postinst?

Any comments?

Thanks!

Closing this bug, gksu is about to be removed from Debian.

The easier approach for launching GUI apps as root via sudo is this:

  sudo echo "Defaults env_keep += \"DISPLAY\"" > /etc/sudoers.d/local-settings
