I thought about using the DPMT for this, however, I don't have admin rights to add you. So you should read the team's wiki page here: https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/PythonModulesTeam then ask to join the Alioth team. I'm not sure what is the status about moving to salsa.debian.org though. I've uploaded python-ldap_3.0.0~b4-1.1, and I'm now opening an RM bug to get python-pyldap removed.
