git developers have encountered a weird crash with git-svn which uses libsvn-perl. My patch (in the thread below) to undef the SVN::Client instance before creating SVN::Ra instances seems to solve the problem; so I suspect there's some sort of reference counting bug in the Perl bindings. https://public-inbox.org/git/20180129120627.al2xvx4yhhvwn6ih@untitled/t/#u Thanks.
