Package: netdata Severity: wishlist Hi,
netdata sends really a lot of mails by default. since this is, especially when using on a larger amount of servers, very annoying. depending on the use case (if netdata is used for monitoring/reporting, or "just" for a "graphical top"/"diagnosing problems"), it might make sense to disable that. and further more, on systems that have no email setup on purpose/not yet, these just waste cpu cycles. would you accept a patch that would make SEND_EMAIL in /etc/netdata/health_alarm_notify.conf configurable via a debconf question at package installation time (defaulting to yes i guess)? Regards, Daniel
