Package: python3-matplotlib
Version: 2.1.1-2
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Running a python3 script that uses pkg_resources.load_entry_point
cannot run because the dependency subprocess32 is not available.

subprocess32 is a Python 2 backport of a Python 3 module
so is a dependency that can never be satifisfied.

I commented subprocess32 out of
/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/matplotlib-2.1.1.egg-info/requires.txt
and then discovered that backports.functools_lru_cache is also a
Python 2 backport.

It looks like the new Python 2 requirements file to resolve #887964 and
#887965 was incorrectly installed in the Python 3 package.
