Actually right now in stretch, the package pykaraoke contains the symlinks /usr/share/pykaraoke/fonts/DejaVuSansCondensed-Bold.ttf -> ../../fonts/truetype/ttf-dejavu/DejaVuSansCondensed-Bold.ttf /usr/share/pykaraoke/fonts/DejaVuSansCondensed.ttf -> ../../fonts/truetype/ttf-dejavu/DejaVuSansCondensed.ttf /usr/share/pykaraoke/fonts/DejaVuSans.ttf -> ../../fonts/truetype/ttf-dejavu/DejaVuSans.ttf
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-dejavu/DejaVuSansCondensed-Bold.ttf and /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-dejavu/DejaVuSansCondensed.ttf are in package ttf-dejavu-extra /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-dejavu/DejaVuSans is in ttf-dejavu-core So pykaraoke should have depended on ttf-dejavu-extra and ttf-dejavu-core. Since these are transitional packages, i think the symlinks should be changed to point to /usr/share/fonts/truetype/dejavu/... and pykaraoke should then depend on fonts-dejavu-core and fonts-dejavu-extra
