On one hand, installing non-free graphics drivers (which affect all users of a machine, not just those who run Steam, if you're using user-switching for privilege separation like I do) doesn't seem particularly desirable. On the other hand, "I installed Steam but half the games don't work because I only have 64-bit graphics drivers" is a terrible UX; and how many 32MB bundles of drivers will fit in the space required for one Steam game, or for that matter the Steam Runtime that the Steam client relies on? :-) Regards, smcv
