On one hand, installing non-free graphics drivers (which affect all users
of a machine, not just those who run Steam, if you're using user-switching
for privilege separation like I do) doesn't seem particularly desirable.

On the other hand, "I installed Steam but half the games don't work
because I only have 64-bit graphics drivers" is a terrible UX; and how
many 32MB bundles of drivers will fit in the space required for one
Steam game, or for that matter the Steam Runtime that the Steam client
relies on? :-)
