Severity: important

Hi,
I have server with AMD Epyc 7601 processor, debian stretch 9.3 and libvirt 3.0.0-4+deb9u1. When i start a guest pc on my host I get this error :

kernel: [ 3796.071651] kvm [20389]: vcpu0, guest rIP: 0xffffffff812dd05c unhandled rdmsr: 0xc001100d kernel: [ 3796.211353] kvm [20389]: vcpu1, guest rIP: 0xffffffff812dd05c unhandled rdmsr: 0xc001100d kernel: [ 3796.256215] kvm [20389]: vcpu2, guest rIP: 0xffffffff812dd05c unhandled rdmsr: 0xc001100d

and on my guest pc i receive this error

kernel: [    2.562730] has_svm: can't execute cpuid_8000000a
kernel: [    2.562732] kvm: no hardware support
kernel: [    2.623546] has_svm: can't execute cpuid_8000000a

kernel: [    2.625747] powernow_k8: Power state transitions not supported
kernel: [    2.625784] powernow_k8: Power state transitions not supported

I found this BUG to fix my problem :

https://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg1578906.html and
https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/9902205/

you can fix this problem on debian stretch ? Maybe even through the backport repository ?

Thank you
Diego
