Package: subdownloader Version: 2.0.18-2.1 Severity: wishlist Hi.
It seems that subdownloader is being developed now on github[0] by a different developer, but with the blessing of the original author[1]. Anyway, at least version 2.0.19 (which is not the newest) already includes support for Qt5 (which would close at least another bug in Debian's BTS), if not others. [2] The most recent version both available on PyPI and tagged on the GitHub repo is 2.1.0rc3. Version 2.0.18 was released/tagged in 2012. Version 2.0.19 was released/tagged in 2017, that is 5 years later, just to put things in perspective and version 2.1.0rc3 was released 5 days ago. The 2.1 versions (reading from the commit log) also support Python 3.5+ main (exclusively?), which would also be beneficial as another Debian goal of going Python 3 as much as possible. So, can subdownloader please be updated? Thanks, Rogério Brito.
