it would be great if you added /usr/lib/mime/packages/zathura just like /usr/lib/mime/packages/mupdf. That would allow to change the order of entries for zathura in /etc/mailcap just by adding zathura:application/pdf to /etc/mailcap.order and calling update-mime afterwards.
