Package: apt-show-versions
Version: 0.22.7
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

Please consider offering an option to output data delimited in a manner
easily handled by other command line programs, possibly using a comma
delimiter for csv output.

The current output uses a combination of semicolons, slashes, and spaces
to output data in a conversational manner which poses a challenge to
using the data in scripts (especially since the semicolon character is
also used in some debian version numbers - eg. libgcc1).

Thus, instead of:

  libgcc1:amd64/ceres 1:8-20180308-1 upgradeable to 1:8-20180310-1

output for the option would be:

  libgcc1,amd64,ceres,upgradeable,1:8-20180308-1,1:8-20180310-1

Moving the "upgradable" to field 3 guarantees uniformity that all
statuses will be in field 3, for cases of only one version number
field to output.
