Thank you very much for your attempts. But I *think* this bug has been already addressed in an upcoming release of qemu (wich will contain a *ton* of changes all over). 2.11 version in debian is built with SDL2 GUI front-end. This one turned out to be not mature enough, with numerous bugs starting from crashes and up to various small nits here and there. New release will be compiled with GTK3 GUI, which is much more mature. I already marked all bugs related to SDL2 GUI as "pending upload", this one will follow. But there are some issues still. Due to large amount of changes I'd love to test things as much as possible before uploading, to ensure it doesn't break anything. And there's really lots of changes. Upstream hasn't released 2.12 yet, only a few release candidates, and a few issues still remain there as well. Expecting the new release really soon now. And finally, qemu package in Debian will contain several new binary packages, which will have to enter manual NEW queue (each new package need manual approval from the Debian FTP team), so it might delay things even more. Still I'm sure we'll be there very soon :) Thank you for your understanding! /mjt
