For me (and most of the people I see considering this question on the net) that has to be "more lightweight", not "lighter-weight"... And is it a matter of "It is used" or "It can be used"? -- JBR with qualifications in linguistics, experience as a Debian sysadmin, and probably no clue about this particular package
