Control: reopen -1 Control: severity -1 wishlist Only a remark - it's not up to you to decide if a certain application is worth as a dependency in a meta-package - if there are problems they should be resolved upstream and they will sooner or later. Second: Even if i would change the dependency to a suggest (what i'm not willing to do) - it would change nothing for stable. So there are three possible outcomes - i leave it like it is - no big deal, lxqt will be removed if someone remove qlipper, second - i demote it to recommends (i never will do that, thats why lxqt-core exists) - third - i add some alternatives, namely clipit and xfce4-clipman, so the user can choose between these three managers.
And because i'm stubborn and qlipper is the natural choice for LXQt qlipper will stay as the default alternative. If there are problems with it they had to be solved upstream. Cheers Alf
