Package: plymouth
Version: 0.9.3-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

testing got an update to the new kernel 4.16. and with that kernel it takes
about 20 seconds after grub before I see the splashscreen and can enter my
password for disk encryption. In this time I only see a blinking underscore.
With older kernels like 4.15 it only takes 1-2 seconds before I see the
splashscreen and can enter my password. For now I disabled plymouth with
noplymouth kernel parameter in grub.
