dh_missing(1) says: "Please note that without either of these options, dh_missing will silently do nothing." However, it later says that --list-missing "is the default in compat 12 and later". These statements cannot both be true. Looks like this was an oversight in commit 8c69e49, and is still present in current git master (67356ae).
