Package: libtcmalloc-minimal4 Version: 2.7-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
Updated from 2.5-2.2 -> 2.7-1 and began receving this error line for every shell command: ERROR: ld.so: object '/usr/lib/libtcmalloc_minimal.so.4' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (cannot open shared object file): ignored. While everything still works, it makes it very difficult to read and evaluate the results of most shell scripts. As a temporary fix I tried to add a sym link for /usr/lib/libtcmalloc_minimal.so.4 to point to the new location, but I have been unable to find the new location. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'oldstable-updates'), (500, 'oldstable-proposed-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'oldstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.16.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/12 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages libtcmalloc-minimal4 depends on: ii libc6 2.27-3 ii libgcc1 1:8.1.0-1 ii libstdc++6 8.1.0-1 libtcmalloc-minimal4 recommends no packages. libtcmalloc-minimal4 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
