Hello, Actually, I (the maintainer here) was the same person who synced the packaging back upstream, so it wouldn't make much of a difference personally. :)
FWIW 0.6.8 was a bit rushed and led to some regressions[1], so I'll skip that and upload the next version (0.6.9) which I plan to tag today.
