Package: ncurses-base Version: 6.1+20180210-3 Severity: wishlist The rxvt-unicode package in buster/sid defaults to TERM=rxvt-unicode-256color. This has annoyed some users (see #886465), as this terminfo entry is not in ncurses-base. Moreover, rxvt-unicode is the successor of some other once popular packages like rxvt and aterm (see #848284), so I think rxvt-unicode-256color should be added to ncurses-base.
Including rxvt-unicode-256color in ncurses-base has also been requested in Fedora: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1430935. The only objection there is that Fedora's rxvt-unicode package ships the terminfo entry itself, but we do not have this file conflict in Debian.
