Dear Maintainer,
I have a problem installing and/or using viking on my system
If I try to install the package I get the following:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
viking : Depends: libmapnik3.0 (>= 3.0.20+ds) but it is not going to be
installed:
The aptitude solver suggests downgrading:
Downgrade the following packages:
1) libboost-regex1.62.0 [1.62.0+dfsg-5.1 (now, unstable) ->
1.62.0+dfsg-5+b1 (testing)]
However, if I do this the packages installs successfully, but then fails to
start. When I try to run viking I get the following:
viking: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libmapnik.so.3.0: undefined symbol:
_ZNK5boost16re_detail_10620031icu_regex_traits_implementation12do_transformEPKiS3_PKN6icu_608CollatorE
So I am not sure if the problem is in the viking package, or a bug in
libmapnik3.0 or libboost1.62 - but something is misconfigured somewhere
