Package: hwdata
Version: 0.290-1
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

hwdata pnp.ids content is outdated compared to what's upstream. For instance
GSM is still resolved as Goldstar despite that name not being in use since
1995.

This leads to a confusing situation like displaying 'Goldstar' in Gnome
settings after connecting a fairly new display/TV.

I'd appreciate syncing with upstream.

Thank you,
Dariusz Gadomski
