I did some more testing, and turned up some weirdness in systemctl. see: https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/9080 I've proposed a fix for the documentation upstream: https://gitlab.labs.nic.cz/knot/knot-resolver/merge_requests/587 let me know whether that works for you, Sakirnth! --dkg
