Package: debian-reference-en Version: 1.09-2 Severity: normal Section 10.4.4 says "If you configure interfaces using DHCP then you may find this package useful: dhcp-dns."
I don't think that package is in Debian now. Perhaps autodns-dhcp? The latter refers to bind8, so I'm not entirely sure it works with bind9. It also is marked Conflicts: dhcp-dns. I noticed this because I'm trying to figure out how to get my nameserver to reflect dynamic clients. My clients know their own names, so I'm not even sure if I should be doing this from the server or the client. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (990, 'stable'), (50, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.27advncdfs Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages debian-reference-en depends on: ii debian-reference-common 1.09-2 Debian system administration guide debian-reference-en recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
