Package: slrnpull
Version: 0.9.8.1pl1-15
When testing slrnpull with piuparts, I get the following error:
0m9.5s ERROR: Package purging left files on system:
/etc/news
owned by: slrnpull
/etc/news/server
0m9.5s ERROR: After purging files have disappeared:
/var/log/news
owned by: slrnpull
/etc/news/server is required by policy; it seems to be created by each
package that needs it, if it doesn't exist already, and should thus not
be removed, because some other package might be using it. Do you agree?
If so, I'll add the file (and the organization file) to the default
ignore list of piuparts so that slrnpull can be tested without problems.
/var/log/news is removed by slrnpull's postrm. The directory exists on
the filesystem before slrnpull is installed, however, so slrnpull
probably shouldn't remove it, even when it is empty.
