While working with a contributor on improving dh_installsystemd in debhelper, I was informed that ipmiutil's usage of dh_installsystemd leads to a broken package[1]. Indeed, the postinst script refers to a lot of non-existing "ipmiutil.ipmiutil*.service" services. We are working on making dh_installsystemd catch this behaviour at build-time to avoid similar breakage in the future.
