Control: tag -1 patch During deb package build, a pristine copy of the source is included in the dkms package. We try to to strip everything except the files needed to build the kernel modules.
The dpkg-architecture call is part of the ZFS_AC_PACKAGE macro, which upstream ships to produce packages. This is obviously unnecessary in the Debian dkms source. Part of my cleanup [1] removes the call to that macro, and should remove the need for dpkg-architecture. That MR includes a few other fixes, hopefully all of them can be merged soon.
