Source: haproxy Version: 1.7.5-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, I tried to enable dns check in my proxy and this works: -- 8< -------------------------------------------------------------------- resolvers mydns nameserver dnsmasq 127.0.0.1:53 -- 8< --------------------------------------------------------------------
However, my first tries where nameserver dnsmasq [::1]:53 and nameserver dnsmasq ::1:53 and nameserver dnsmasq localhost:53 All of these attemps resulted in this error: Starting [mydns/dnsmasq] nameserver: can't connect socket. I did check that my local dns is working properly as dig +short localhost @::1 ANY works ok. I expected to be able to enter a v6 address. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.4 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-6-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init)
