Hi Helmut, nobody answered so far :-( I just tracked down a long chain of uninstallable B-D on kfreebsd-* to this bug ... ending with a bootstrap failure for libidn2 due to a dependency cycle between gnupg2 and libidn2 (gnupg2 needs libidn2-dev, libidn2-doc needs (transitively) gnupg). Maybe you just want to NMU it. Your patch looks sensible, but I haven't tried it. Andreas
