Thank you for the report Andrius. The missing class comes from libstax-java. I guess this was a transitive dependency that got dropped at some point, I'll get a look.
To work around this issue I recommend using maven-debian-helper instead of maven-ant-helper. maven-ant-helper was used to bootstrap Maven components, it shouldn't be used for new packages nowadays. Emmanuel Bourg
