Source: emacs-goodies-el Version: 38.0 Severity: normal I couldn't find an active upstream for this one, Debian hasn't shipped with upstart support since Jessie, Ubuntu switched away from it for 15.04 (spring 2015) and their 14.04 LTS will reach EOL shortly before Buster is released. On the other hand, Wikipedia claims it's still used in Chromium/Chrome OS, RHEL/CentOS/Scientific/Oracle 6, and LG's webOS-based devices and appliances.
Stig, as the author of this mode are you interested in maintaining it as an upstream? The Debian Emacsen team is in the process of transitioning src:emacs-goodies-el from a native package of bundled lisp files to a dummy package that depends on a series of elpafied non-native packages with independent upstreams.
