No, lintian is not a dependency of sbuild. Even when sbuild is instructed to run lintian, lintian is installed inside the chroot by sbuild. Thus, installing lintian on the host is not necessary. This seems to be a duplicate of #893226. Can you confirm? #893226 was closed in 0.75.0-1 and thus you can probably not reproduce your problem anymore? Thanks! cheers, josch
