hmm, I was thinking that it could be controlled from /etc/default/scgi_server.
In there you could have an `ENABLE` option. and perhaps a PORT LIST that way you could have it start up multiple servers on different PORTS. Is that what you meant my many SCGI servers on one machine? what about a example cron entry, to start it on reboot, and to restart it if its not running? or peharps an example inittab entry. or all of the above?
