Source: libssh Version: 0.8.0~20170825.94fa1e38-2 Severity: important Control: affects -1 mysql-workbench
There are two problems with version of this package: 1) Debian version should have been 0.7.0+git20170825.94fa1e38 as the snapshot of the library appears to be ahead of 0.7.0 (yet behind 0.7.5). Maybe snapshot was taken from the wrong branch? Latest upstream release is only 0.7.5. But the following is much bigger problem: 2) Library identifies itself as 0.7.0: ~~~~ /usr/include/libssh/libssh.h #define LIBSSH_VERSION_MAJOR 0 #define LIBSSH_VERSION_MINOR 7 #define LIBSSH_VERSION_MICRO 0 ~~~~ Which causes FTBFS in mysql-workbench 8.0.12 because the latter depends on libssh-dev (>= 0.7.3). -- Regards, Dmitry Smirnov
