Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: normal Hi,
It's been increasingly difficult to maintain this software in Debian keeping the packaging compliant with policy. Following discussion with upstream I am filing this request to have the software removed from Debian. They will maintain their own packages going forward, outside of Debian. Perhaps in the future it will become time efficient again to maintain this in Debian. The package has been FTBFS for a while, and so not available in testing. The package in stable does work and should be left there. Thanks, Iain.
