I would like to second the proposal to add libngspice.so support to the ngspice package. PySpice ( https://pyspice.fabrice-salvaire.fr/ ) needs libngspice.so. So I'm currently stuck with compiling ngspice from source by myself.
Also new versions of ngspice are available. Please consider an upgrade. Thanks. -- Michael
