Package: aufs-dkms
Version: 4.9+20161219-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
When installing Linux kernel and headers version 4.17.0-0.bpo.1-amd64 from the
stretch-backports
repository on a Stretch system, and then installing aufs-dkms, the aufs-dkms
fails to build with
the following error:
Building initial module for 4.17.0-0.bpo.1-amd64
Error! The dkms.conf for this module includes a BUILD_EXCLUSIVE directive
which
does not match this kernel/arch. This indicates that it should not be
built.
Skipped.
If not impossible due to bugs, please allow this module to be built for the
backported
kernel. Or maybe backporting aufs-dkms is a better option, you will know better
than me.
Please note that this is being done from a Docker container, so the automatic
information
gathering about the running kernel is a bit irrelevant.
Regards,
