Package: ftp.debian.org X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected] mozjs is the SpiderMonkey JavaScript engine from Firefox. Version 24 corresponds with Firefox 24 ESR which hasn't been supported since 2014. Now that nothing uses mozjs24 any more in Debian, please remove it.
My relationship to this package is that I am on the Debian GNOME team which maintains mozjs52. I feel confident that the mozjs24 maintainer will be ok with this package's removal. So for buster, we intend to include mozjs60. Cinnamon's cjs might keep using mozjs52. All other mozjs versions have been removed already.
