Btw the "papirus-icon-theme" contains already a custom "tigervnc.svg", which is displayed if "Icon=tigervnc" is used in the .desktop file.
But if your icon theme does not contain a tigervnc icon, you can use the following workaround (you maybe have to log off and on for the changes to take place): wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/TigerVNC/tigervnc/master/media/icons/tigervnc.svg && sudo cp ./tigervnc.svg /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps/
