Technically, 1.9.0+ds-2 in 10/buster and sid *is* 1.10 - I had
cherry-picked all upstream commits before upload and got surprised by a
new upstream version the next morning :)
Still the packaging could see some streamlining, will take care of your
request - by the time the freeze gets closer the latest.
