A somewhat recent discussion on #debian-quebec leads me to believe
that Wayland probably won't be ready to use by default before
buster+2, so it would seem there is still a lot of usefulness left in
xrdb-mode ;-)

I'm planning to remove xrdb-mode from emacs-goodies-el for an upload
on the 12 September so that other people will have a chance to notice
its removal and react. 12 October feels too close to the soft freeze,
which is why I've decided on September.

Regards,
Nicholas
